A word from the President
A very special invitation is extended to all our present and future members to attend the AGM to be held during Vivre Actif, on Friday, September 28, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm.
With our support, encouragement and suggestions, it’s the perfect opportunity to get actively involved and make your voice heard, so that we can continue to grow.
We invite you to participate in the development of resources and activities that will benefit all our Franco-Albertan seniors!
The Executive Board
The Executive Board defines the organization’s policies and advises the management team on strategy, resource management, social responsibility, and assumes the task of appointing management.
The AGM
Over the past few years, the reality of the Fédération des aînés franco-albertains has continued to evolve: the number of francophone seniors in Alberta continues to grow, and the population is diversifying to create a multi-generational and multicultural community.
Other realities, such as the pandemic, have profoundly altered the structure of our organization and the services we offer.
FAFA is adapting to these changes and doing its best to identify and meet the needs of the province’s seniors. To help us in this mission, you are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to make your voice heard and participate in the proposed changes to our bylaws and regulations.
The FAFA AGM is held on the last weekend of September, during our major Vivre actif gathering, and closes the annual convention.
